It's okay to take a break when you need it and if it's by pretending to be sick well so be it, you know what you need best and that's rest and a time out no need to feel guilty about that. I was really mean to my mom when I was younger because I had bipolar at a young age as well. I feel horrible about it and have since apologized but I didn't mean anything I ever said to her that was mean I was just confused and frustrated so try not to take it too personal as I'm sure your son loves you very much as I loved my mom very much even though I was saying hurtful things. Your husband sounds like a great support for you so don't forget if he hasn't mentioned you needing a break as an issue it probably isn't one! I hope you feel better soon
