my ex whom i had a son by, treated me the same way. i thought he was almost trying to brainwash me. i can't believe i lived with him for 4 years. hell. we were engaged to be married, but i just couldn't handle it anymore and left, with the police department after a heated argument. he would always be critisizing me, he even abused me pshysically a few times. i am happy you are away from that person and i'm like you, i still have faith in humanity. there are good people out there.i wish you and all well.
