How can you deal with other people's feeling all day and not have someone to whom you express your own? Ts are human beings too. At some point every therapist's own stuff WILL interact with the clients and it's important that they have some kind of their own therapy in order to keep up their own self-awarness.

Completely agree. In the beginning, I interviewed a therapist and when asked whether she had supervision, she said she didn't.
She also looked very uncomfortable and sort of defensive that I would ask such a question.
That made me cross her off my list.
My therapist has supervision and I think it's absolutely crucial in order to maintain distance and objectivity.
