My dad had the surgery. I think he rested up for about a week before driving or anything. He's in his 70s though. He never had any problems from the surgery. He couldn't believe how bright the colors were afterward and mentioned that the bedroom walls were not the color he thought they were. And that a lot of shirts that he thought were cream-colored were actually white. He was a big fan of the surgery results.
