Don't mean to Necro a thread but just wanted to get some info to people out there about Vaping.
I've been vaping for about a year now and I feel so much better than when I was smoking, had chest pains, overweight, coughing fits.
I started using Halo E-cigs for about 50 bucks you'll get a great starter kit and some starting e-juice. IMO the juice was pretty gross but interesting to sample. Once you get settled and start looking at different juices some may say they taste like mint chocolate chip but you'll find they are exactly all that, so I would recommend small amounts before making a big purchase to find a flavor you enjoy.
I moved on to other e-cig brands such as Vaporfi's ego style ecig and Innokin MVP2, they all offer uniqueness such as style, type, and customization.
There's been a lot of smear campaigning against the use of ecigs lately, with the FCC wanting to regulate, and the scare tactic of potentially dangerous by-products from vaping. I will agree that vaping is not healthy but it is a healthier alternative to smoking. So don't pick up vaping just cause. The transition to vaping from smoking was easy since I was still getting nicotine and the act of smoking, however, it did take a little getting used to how often to vape. I found myself vaping way more throughout the day and was getting frequent headaches and dizzy spells from too much nicotine.
Now the juices come in a various strengths and levels. For example 50/50 24mg is a 50/50 mix of PG and VG (both are generally recognized as safe by FDA) and the target nicotine strength is 24mg. That means every puff your going to be taking in a lot of nicotine. As a three pack a week smoker I was comfortable around 60/40 or 50/50 10-14 mg. 18 mg was giving me the headaches.

Again, sorry for necro-ing this thread and if you have any questions I'd be happy to try to answer them.
Hugs from:
