Your boyfriend is being mean. The people at his workplace are also very mean. He should have told them that he had no interest in seeing the video. You have every right in the world to be upset by him coming home with that story.

It's not good to be alone. Still, I would rather be alone that be treated mean. If him being this mean is not typical of how he treats you, then you might want to forgive him, IF he apologizes to you, which you should insist upon. If this is typical of how he treats you, then you might well be better off away from him.
