Lately I realized that I have no problems making prolonged eye contact with strangers (basically staring). It only gets awkward when I see them being awkward. That is when I need to force myself to look away and then control my eyes. In the end I end up remembering less than I should be because all my focus is not on what the person is talking about.

This weirds out people when it happens. Girls often think I am attracted to them even when I am not. I can see them being nervous. It generally happens in one on one conversations.
