My T is not a homework/worksheet kind of CBT therapist. Good thing because that wouldn't fly with me.

We generally start with a check in and he hones in on whatever seems most pressing at the time. The CBT skills are worked into our discussion, in processing what is going on and how it is affecting me. He helps me utilize those skills as we talk. He doesn't give me formal homework. Occasionally he'll ask me to put some specific thought into something and he ALWAYs asks me to utilize the same skills we use in session in my daily life, particularly on the little things so that I can start internalizing those skills for use when the big things in life crop up.
