Sorry for any offence, I do struggle with empathy. Prolonged inability to make decisions must be a living hell. I did think your comment Funny thing is when I go to make the final decision, a renegade voice would pop out of no where and say, 'oh it's not gonna matter, do it!" was a particularly apt, colourful and perceptive way of describing what I suspect might be difficulties in impulse control.
