I've been vaping for 5 years, but I never used it as a smoking cessation device. I smoked cigarettes (1 pack per day) for 25 years before I switched to vaping. I believe I know a lot about vaping, so I would be remiss if I didn't mention that the jury is still out regarding the safety of vaping. The only negative (and it's a big negative) is the release of formaldehyde in high-voltage vaping (5+volts). Ejuice is comprised of propylene glycol and/or glycerol, and when heated at 5+ volts, a lot of formaldehyde is released. High-voltage vaping, coupled with sub-ohm atomizers is trending (everyone is chasing clouds). I realize the risk, but I chose to chase clouds anyway.
