A neighbor of mine (that I don't know) just shot her ex when he broke her door down. The police had been there numerous times and the woman never got a protection order. She has two small kids. She got a gun instead.

So far she's not being charged with anything and as someone who's had to get a protection order and have sent someone to jail I'm really pissed off.
