Thanks guys. And SpringStar I did remove myself from the situations that seemed to cause the attacks and now have become agoraphobic!!! I too stopped smoking about 4 years ago. (congrats to you btw - I know it's not easy to do). At the same time I lost a lot of weight, was feeling really good about myself and life in general and then 2 years ago WHAM! my first panic attack. In the past 2 years I have gained all the weight back, just can't be bothered eating right or exersising. At least I didn't start smoking again (yeah me)!! They are still working on my triggers. The only thing that seems to be a common thread is any kind of heat. Well, I live in Ontario, Canada and we have just had 2 weeks of extreme heat, I think that's why I have been having so many lately.
