Hello, My Name is Andrew and I am 22 years old. I am living with bipolar I disorder and OCD, my first symptoms began when I was 13. I stated having very large thoughts about myself, then came an inability to sleep. After a lot of stress on my family and 6 days w/out any sleep I was taken to the hospital. By that time my OCD had gotten fairly bad as well, this caused confusion with my doctors and I was not diagnosed bipolar till my 20's. This was a bit of a problem due to not being treated correctly for nearly seven years, resulting in my almost complete inability to function. Now only two years of treatment for bipolar and I am in school, working and expressing myself creatively. My life is still very hard but for the first time in years I have hope, Thank God.
