I'm not sure how it relates to the things you listed. I guess if you have Borderline Personality Disorder and you're having an agitated depression there could be some link, same goes for the depression (it's just agitated), as for past hypo-manic episodes, are you bipolar too?
I don't really understand the difference between dysphoric mania (or dysphoric hypomania) and agitated depression when it comes to people with bipolar disorder. They both involve symptoms of depression, they both involve agitation/irritability, restlessness, poor sleep, appetite changes, behavioral changes etc. So what's the diff?
I think that's the real question. Nobody in the mental health field has ever made that clear to me.
