What you are explaining is called akathisia. This is what happens when someone has been on antipsychotics for a long period of time. I would definitely not let this go as it could be anything from a systemic problem to Parkinson's. I would not hesitate to call my doctor. I hope that you get some help for this. I have an inner restlessness but I have ADHD (hyperactive) and I take a low dose stimulant to calm this. As soon as I wake up my body is like a motor. The stimulant slows all of that movement down.
