I appreciated self harm but it was obviously a dead end.
I loved smoking but that's obviously a dead end.
Substance use served a purpose but a dead end too.
But as I sustain from smoking and substances my need for self harm increases.
But when I was running and working out the need for all these things were seemingly absent.
The rush from running 5 miles is CRAZY. The rush from kicking the snot out of a punching bag was even better.
Time I get back to the constructive habits of getting "high" than running down dead end roads. Tomorrow it begins...
