I was diagnosed with "anxiety disorder" at age 13 or 14 officially, and I'm almost 23 now. It's different for everyone. But generally speaking, if you have an official diagnosis, meaning it's chronic, then chances are it could last years. That's been my personal experience. Peaks are something different, I don't really have "peaks", I have good days and bad days. I'm determined to not let it be a lifelong diagnosis for me.
