I was on Risperdal for a while (about a year and a half) and finally stopped it because I was gaining weight and it caused irregular periods. Although, I did have the symptoms you are describing as well. They did last for a few months afterwards but yes, they did eventually go away.
Try not to worry, they should go away in time (as they did for me).
