On the 21st i have a dentist appointment and im getting a tooth taken out thats been broken for a couple years. But now i have insurance and my mom is helping with the rest. Im being put under cause i am very bad with physical pain. I cant take it at all,i freak out at even the possibility of it. Now heres my question,they are im sure going to give me a pain med and im worried it will be vicadin. That stinks cause that stuff just doesnt work for me. Even if i take four of them it barely dents it. What does work is codeine. Can i tell the dentist that or will he think im some codeine addict and refuse to give it to me? Is this fear i have part of my anxiety and it will be fine if i tell him that? Haha this is somewhat normal for me. I remember when i was younger being very afraid i was going to get carded when i bought alcohol. I was 22 and had my lisence with me at the time,whats it matter if they card me? I dunno but my heart would pound still like i was underage.

I guess the main question is,,,,is it ok to ask the dentist for codeine or will that make it a sure thing ill get something else?(like vicadin)
