-- cashier at fast food Chinese place (because I was the only one who could speak English, LOL)

-- assorted clerical temp jobs

-- salad bar girl at Shoney's (also a nightmare job! Kudos to all the restaurant workers who put up with it!)

-- typesetter of medical books and journals (pre-desktop publishing days) and later of church bulletins (worst job of my entire life, bar none)

-- editor and ghostwriter for a group of crazy "church people"

-- editor for a medical publishing company specializing in international travel health (very cool job)

-- newspaper reporter (for weekly and daily papers)

-- research assistant for two university professors

-- stockboy for JC Penney (close second as worst job of my life, LOL)
