Your post makes perfect sense to me! I have an alter who I feel does the opposite than try to save me. I believe she is trying to sabotage me, and she foils my plans every step of the way. I feel as if we are in constant battle. She manipulates people in order to hurt me, and I must try to stay one step ahead of her to save my relationships and my sanity. Though all I know of you is your post, I can say it's my belief that it's YOU who keeps saving yourself. Not your alter. You have probably disassociated your suicidal tendencies to the point they have taken on their own persona. I have a similar situation and that's they dynamic I came up with for me. Your situation may be different, but it's a good thing to look at things objectively. It's like we with DID need to be good detectives to figure out what the heck is going on in our own mind!! Whodda thunk it??
