Gave up on it when trying to go above 250mg. Worsening side effects, vision issues/light sensitivity (have always been that way with other stuff), stuffy head/allergic type symptoms. Brain fog, out of it feeling, fatigue...basically, go down the list of well reported side effects, I seem to get them on all of the AEDs, and most meds for that matter. Except Benzos.

Everybody is different, by brother is on 750mg depakote, swears by it...so even a blood relative could have a completely different opinion and outcome to something.
