Occasionally, I wonder if anxiety isn't worse in people that have high expectations of themselves or who are perfectionists (I have not looked into this, nor do I have a therapist, so apologies if this is something obvious or has been discussed before).

Job anxiety is anxiety...We want to be the best at what we do in case someone comes in and judges you.
But we're only human and humans are imperfect creatures.

If you can forgive the dogs and cats for mistakes, why can't you forgive yourself?

I'm sorry I have no suggestions. Perhaps if you spoke to your boss and asked him how you are doing, it might help? If he/she tells you you're doing well, then you might at least be assured that you're good at what you do. Then you might forgive yourself a little.

Make sense?
Thanks for this!
