I've often wanted to post something here on this but could never figure out how to make the distinction between the two.
I see mood and emotion like climate vs weather. Weather is what happens locally and can have its highs and lows from day to day, climate is what happens globally over time. Emotions are what happens day to day, sometimes hour to hour but mood is an over all baseline. Does this make sense?
I'm trying to explain to people that mad does not equal manic and that I have justifiable reasons for getting mad, sad and having regular feelings.
