I cannot comment on your pdoc. it is not possible to say if he is being too conservative or if he is being a good advocate for your health. If you are totally unhappy with pdoc are there any other doctors to consider? If you are basically stable, going to a new doc could be starting all over again. For some people that could be scary. Sometimes the doc you know and are fairly happy with is a safer bet than an unknown doc.

If you are not feeling like meds are enough, would you be willing to consider life style changes that might help?
