Experiences on Vyvanse?

If I could switch to Adderall XR I would but I'm not even going to mention it to my psychiatrist which is sad having to be careful asking for medications for my illness.
I'm on vyvanse, recently switched from Adderall XR bc the Adderall XR wasn't lasting long enough for me and I was having to take two doses and often forgetting the second dose and it still really wasn't lasting long enough. I'd been on it a really long time, however, like 7 or 8 years. I was on concerta briefly several years ago and it just didn't work well for me.
I really like vyvanse. It seems like it's a lot "smoother". I don't notice it taking effect or wearing off, it's more like all of a sudden I realize I've been able to concentrate the last hour or so without difficulty. I sleep better, I don't get the occasional heart palpitations I got on adderall. I had really bad headaches the first week or so but other than that, no real side effects. I'm pleased with it.
It does take quite a bit longer to kick in, for me almost two hours, so I take it as soon as I get up. That's the only real downfall I see with it.
