My uncle had a part husky part wolf (where he got that dont ask me) and he wasnt allowed to get any other dog due to the wolf side in his first one...his name is Duke...and my uncle lived in this house in a neighborhood in the city....and after the 7th time of getting out and away was when my uncle decided to sell him....sometimes its more humane to give your dog up to an area more sutable to their instincts....in my uncles case...he just wasnt thinking...i mean having a part wolf in the city? i think not...i mean you had to be really careful with this dog...one time i turned my back on him (big no no) and he thought i was challenging him and ended up attacking me.....sorry lost in memory....sorry for the unrelated memory....hope your dog doesnt run away again
