Thanks all of you for your insightis into this wayward dog!
By removing the wire mesh, rigid 4 ft high inside the picket fence whcih she was breaking, and placing the electrick fence there, it seems to have contained her, at least for the night!. She was doing this several times a day, venturing further and staying out longer each time, like a bad child! I feel I'm practicing "tough love" with the shocker fence, but I also know she's pondering her next move! I've had Kelley for 8 or more years, and this just started recently, actually BEFORE I got the golden pup, who is now bigger than Kelley, who thinks herself the alpha dog, as Henry (golden) is beginning to overtake her in play, etc, is goofy,sweet, clumsy and lovable! Not sure what I'll do next time IF she breaks out!
