I would get a second opinion on that. Have you googled it?
It looks like it's designated for children, and as a way to explain early onset of a number of different disorders, especially schizophrenia. It's been researched for a number of years, and in the DSM-IV is referred to as a syndrome. I couldn't find anything about it being in the DSM-V as a new mood disorder.
You should definitely look into this more.
They could have totally decided to add it as a new disorder, please don't get me wrong. And if you are not bipolar, that's great! But be very careful, you don't want someone to misguide you after you've just had a rough time and got stable.
