i thought that you had the wire fence that they actually touch. that is what worked with mine. they didn't have a collar. it actually shocked them, when they touched it. nose, leg, butt......anywhere. and i tied white rags on the wire, so it was highly visible to them.......now i can just put a wire up and tie a white rag on it and bingo! that's all it takes.

even horses and cows learn the old white rag trick quickly.
