I have been sending in resumes left and right. Yes I have gotten interviews, even second interviews but I don't know what happens after that. In my gut, I always feel like I did really well. I guess my gut doesn't know crap. It really wouldn't be a fraction as bad if interviewers had the decency to shoot a rejection email. I will even take one of those fill-in-the-blanks generic rejection letters. I try not to bother them and just make one phone call or send one email a week after the date they say they will let me know by. And no one ever returns the calls or emails. I really wish I knew what their impression of me was. Why am I not getting hired? Could it be a former employer bad mouthing me? Completely frustrated and ready to throw in the towel.
