The cost of a warranty is included in the cost of the item for its expected lifetime
by law in my country. Any item must be repaired, replaced or refunded by the supplier if it doesn't last for the period that might be reasonably expected for that type of good at the price for which it was purchased.
I don't think choosing not to commit fraud is particularly high as morals go.
