Kelley (samoyed mix) broke out again...braving the shock collar and breaking the pickets on the gate after I removed the wire mesh which she was climbing to break out. I'm very depressed. I drove around (again for the umpteenth time) and found her down the street. I went to Rite Aid (only place open nearby) and bought two lengths of 12 ft chain and have her on one of them right now, chained to the back porch where she can go down in the grass or up on the porch for food and water. Maybe i'm imagining this because of all the trouble she's caused, but she even seems to have a different LOOK ...cunning and angry! I don't intend to keep a dog that has to be chained all the time, but don't know what to do!!! Would it be inhumane to have her put to sleep??? I know how cruel this sounds, but who else could care for her as I have?
