Fayerody gave you some good info on electric fences. The fence itself will keep her in your yard. Shock collors are unfortunately often used to keep dogs from running deer and chasing rabbits. If she is shocked whenever she touches any part of the fence she'll stay inside the yard. I have yet to see it fail.
