Have a sleep study done. It's easy and you'll do fine.
I used a CPAP for years until I happened to lose weight and quit smoking, then didn't need it. The reason my doc ordered the sleep study is the same as what you describe. Though I didn't realize I was doing it,, my son complained to me about my loud snoring (he and his friend could hear it outside the house with the doors shut and one window open on the opposite side of the house from where he was) and I mentioned it offhand to my doctor. Had the sleep study done and the CPAP delievered and took a nap with it right away--it was the best sleep I'd had in a long long time. It was really wonderful!
More insufficient sleep isn't the answer. Aerobic exercise might be more helpful to get more oxygen into your blood/body. Sleep apnea robs you of restful sleep and needed oxygen and can cause heart ailments because of the insufficient oxygen.
I hope you feel better and will consider getting the sleep study done so you can feel better all the time!
