Personally, I think you're being completely reasonable. You aren't drug seeking. You're giving non stimulants a valid try. It sounds like you just want to feel better and get your conditions optimally treated so you can function to the best of your abilities. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Don't worry about what your doc thinks. People always forget this, but remember he works for you. Not that he should do whatever you say or anything like that, but he is obligated to treat you to the best of his abilities. And that includes everything going on within his specialty.
