You can buy large cardboard portfolios at art supply stores, and sometimes hobby shops, for next to nothing. Then you can select your favorite pictures, or papers that evoke special memories, put them in the portfolios, and slide them into the attic or garage or a corner of the closet. That way, you still have those precious pictures and they're protected from damage, but they're organized and not taking up much space.

You've reminded me it's time to clean out desk drawers around here again... our oldest daughter graduated high school today (sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread, but I've been dying to mention it somewhere).
