I just finished "Marbles..." by Ellen Forney. It's a graphic novel. She does the comic "I was Seven in Seventy-five"., so she's exactly my age. It focuses on her resistance to her diagnoses, worrying meds would take away her creativity, taking years to find the right cocktail, all while being an artist. I loved it. It totally resonated with me- we even seem to have hung out at the same bars in Seattle. Not for the ultra-conservative, but for an open-minded person who wants to feel like they're hanging out with a friend, it's amazing.
Thanks for this!
