To me, I think that you have a very logical concept here.

You are very aware of the devastating impact that this action can have on others and of course you do not wish to do this.

It's just the thought that some with bipolar do this.

Yes, the reality is, that this is a risk factor for some with bipolar.

However, you seem very sensible to me.

Sometimes just "knowing" about something makes us fear something.

But it doesn't mean we're going to tempt fate and it certainly doesn't sound as if you will either.

The best advice is to please keep tabs with your doctor during times when you may have a mood episode and you are feeling vulnerable and you feel like this is something that you WANT to do.

You certainly don't want to do this now.

I think that you are okay.
