I have had experience with lithium years ago in the past that was horrible because of side effects at a higher level. I have hope that it will help though.

I don't have any personal experience with Lithium, although I've been strongly considering it lately. I've seen it used a lot to augment another anti-depressants with treatment resistance depression. A lot of people seem to have good results with it and like a previous poster said, it's pretty safe in lower doses.
