Dumpsters are great for stuff. I don't know why there would be needles in a gamestop dumpster. I can tell you now you probably won't find needles. That's more likely in a hospital dumpster. I like to go dumpster diving. I went to a Staples dumpster and got two leather chairs the other day. Along with the usual hop into the Dollar Tree dumpster for dog food. Got like 6 big bags of dog food.
