Hi Tongalee,
This is definitely the place to 'practice' your thoughts and feelings so that you can articulate them with your therapist before an actual session. I have done so many times here and have found it to be very helpful. I'm not embarrassed or anything like that if I 'freak out' in front of my therapist - believe me, she has enough personal experience with such things to understand what I'm experiencing - but it makes sessions more productive if I'm not spending half of it trying to pull myself back together and putting myself in the present so we can focus on the issue at hand instead of pulling my mind out of the past first.
If it's uncomfortable for you to discuss it openly in the forums, there is always the PM's where you can share with someone you feel comfortable with.
