Hello!
I'm afraid in the night. I just am. I also ruminate a lot about my past in the night, and I likely sleep around 03:00 in the morning almost every night. I'm in bed by 1:00 usually, and I absolutely must have a light in my room. The darkness frightens me, and I usually have a desk light on because a nightlight isn't bright enough. Sometime's I'm still up at 4:00-6:00 in the morning. I drink my tea, listen to some calming music, shut my eyes & try to be at peace. I dunno what else to do because I worry too much at night.

Yes, I could indeed go to bed earlier. That's for sure something I'm willing to try.
Issues I have: GAD, moderate depression, obsessive thoughts. I'm still trying to tackle my issues through therapy and medication, but I'd appreciate more sleep asap.

I have a psychiatrist, and I'll see him next week. Should I let him know my issues? This has gone on for about a month.
