Can anyone speak to the way bipolar and PTSD interact? I've had the PTSD diagnosis for a while but never really gave it much thought until today after telling my therapist about particular symptoms related to fear. She told me to monitor my symptoms, as something I previously thought may be related to mania could actually be the PTSD acting up. She also mentioned how both disorders could be at play simultaneously during an episode, kind of working off of each other. Was just curious if anyone else has experience with these two diagnoses.
