Showering is a lot of work. And it takes a lot of hot water. There's exfoliating, pain old scrubbing, moisturizing, shaving freaking EVERYTHING, then washing butt length curly hair is a pain in the *** on its own... I think we women have it harder because there's so much WORK to be done in the shower. It's never relaxing, and we can't take the time to enjoy it. And in my house, I have hot water long enough to either wash myself, or my hair. Shaving takes place in a bath, and a hurried one, because the water gets cold fast, and there isn't enough hot water to reheat it.
Add to that the fact that my recently deceased mother came in every day to pee while I was in there and I REALLY don't care enough to shower.
