the reaction you are describing is an allergic reaction. you should not take this med. contact your doctor and let him/her know what is going on. if you take too much you are in danger of your airway swelling shut. benedryl will help with the allergic reaction but it is highly advisable that you do not take it at all. please let your doctor know and get a different medication.
