I hate antipsychotics also and am prescribed Respirdal, but I don't take it unless I feel like I need it. It's fast acting so it's not like it's got to build up in the body to be effective. I only take it when I can't sleep and the visuals are a little much, but normally I don't mind what I'm seeing. Respiradal 1 mg is about the only one that I can barely take and I'm allergic to the rest.
