I have the "reading words wrong" problem that you mentioned. It started when I got chronic fatigue syndrome. (CFS/ME) I've never seen anything like the non-existent lines on the paper that you mentioned, though.

You *are* at a stressful point in your school career. However, if your energy level is generally good, you're sleeping well, and you don't have an eyesight problem, it's not immediately obvious what might be causing the problem.

I can't remember if you said how long this problem has been going on. I probably would tell someone. I don't know if your school has a person to talk to about learning anxiety or learning disabilities (whether it's stress-caused or a medical problem, I'd say it's causing you a learning disability right now.)

In general, telling your parents would be good, too. I would just be very matter-of-fact about the symptoms you are having.
