I once had a beagle that could jump 8 feet so he was able to get out of just about any fencing I put up finally what we ended up doing was putting up a kennel. A kennel is like a cage but huge. they come in various sizes. the one I got for Springer was nine feet high, 10 feet long and 10 feet wide. I placed it right next to the porch so that any time he went out he went directly int to kennel to pla do his business ect.. Having a kennel helped so much in the sanitary part of things too because I didnt have to walk around every day carrying a shovel and bag searching for dog pies. it never failed you forget one and someone steps in it and its on the bottom of the shoes and into the house.. YUCK.. with having the kennel cleanup was a snap.
