So I discovered that my body is extremely sensitive to caffeine and refined carbs (ie white breads, sugars). Maybe it's their addictive qualities that make me over eat them or maybe it's some sort of other biochemical thing going on idk.
Regardless eating a low processed carb diet helps me a lot. The challanging part is when "fall of the wagon" as my coworker call it lol
For instance the other day I had a nightmare that woke me up at 2am. I couldn't fall asleep again. Time for work rolls around and I'm dead tired. So I drink a coffee....and after that everything spirals out of control. I eat carbs/crash/more caffeine /cravings etc. It could go on for days/weeks before I get back on track.
Getting back into my structured diet is so hard! Anything ideas on how I can reduce the time spent 'off the wagon' so-to-speak? It seems the hurdles are the extreme tiredness and lethargy and cravings I experience :-S.
Have a great day!
